1013 Media was born from a desire to create what people were really needing — content that would support their vision, goals, & be long lasting with a profound impact. Samantha Wierick founded 1013 on a passion for storytelling with a single camera and a relentless belief that every story deserves to be told beautifully.
After nearly a decade + of commercial campaigns, short films, and broadcast work across Texas, 1013 Media marked a new chapter: a larger team, a broader slate, and an even sharper focus on cinematic quality.
The name 1013 is personal — a nod to the first studio that set everything in motion. The work, however, is universal. We make films and content that move people, for clients who believe the same.

Samantha Wierick has spent over a decade at the intersection of commercial storytelling and independent film. She founded Gilden Media in 2016 and left to start a bigger vision as 1013 Media in 2025, growing the company into one of Dallas's most sought-after boutique production houses.
Her work spans national brand campaigns, award-winning short films, and broadcast documentary series. She brings a director's eye to every project — whether it's a 15-second social reel or a feature-length documentary.
Samantha is also a passionate advocate for diverse voices in film, mentoring emerging filmmakers through Uncontrollable Minds Organization and serving as a member of the Texas Women in Film collective.

Renick manages sales, logistics, budgets, and client relationships with equal precision. She's the reason complex multi-day shoots run smoothly and clients leave happy.
Investment officer
Taylor oversees the financial structuring, legal requirements, & investment management & delivery. His work ensures budgets are met, work quality output is excellent, & licensing & rights are managed.
